Cavalli for the Masses: Roberto Cavalli + H&M

Soon regular (but fabulous) girls like us will be able to rock the red carpet-worthy looks of Roberto Cavalli, when the adored fashion guru designs a one-off women's and men's collection for Swedish retailer H&M. The collection will be sold in 200 H&M stores beginning November 8, 2007. Imagine...designer duds at insanely cheap prices! Is your heart racing too? I'm kvelling!

Cavalli, who is best known for his use of animal prints and outrageously sexy dresses, has dressed everyone from Jennifer Lopez to Sheryl Crow. Here's a look at what the famed designer offered in his eponymous line for Fall '07 - let's hope the H&M collection is as gorgeous.

It's really great when high-end designers find a way to reach the masses - and I don't mean with lines like D&G for Dolce & Gabbana, or Just Cavalli, but like actual inexpensive clothes that real people with regular jobs can afford.
