What I Want: Wooden Accessories

From buttons to bangles, I'm feeling all things wooden for this season and beyond!

A gorgeous clutch from Newport News that works for both day and night.

I'm a huge fan of clogs and a wooden heel and sole makes them even more appealing.

This the perfect piece for any season -- layer it in the winter, then wear it with shorts in the summer!

Don't wait until spring or summer to wear these safari-inspired bangles -- they'll look amazing with winter greys and blacks.

It's a major splurge but this leather and wood from shopbop.com is so worth it!

Cup of Joy

One of my New Year's resolutions is to make every experience more enjoyable, even the smallest thing, like drinking my morning coffee. Instead of keeping my latte in the paper cup offered at Starbucks or Coffee Bean, I plan to transfer my morning fix to a proper mug. Something so simple will make that first fifteen minutes at the office so much more indulgent.

I'm recently engaged but a little more bling never hurt anyone, right?

These mugs are so chic they'll make the watered-down coffee at the office taste a wee bit better.

Colorful graphic prints are a great pick-me-up for those mornings when waking up is hard to do.

What are your New Year's resolutions? Tell me about them in the comments.

Shop the Sale at Lulu's

The holiday season may be over, but as far as most retailers are concerned, the shopping season won't be finished until they've cleared out their winter selections to make room for spring's hottest styles, which means deep discounts on cute cold weather essentials. One of the best sales I've found is at Lulus.com -- they've got everything from booties to bags on sale now! Here are a few Style Goodies faves:

Wowza that's a sexy boot!

This sweater is essential for layering in the cold months, but short sleeves make it work for spring too.

This ruffled bag takes girly to another level -- love it!

The color is so elegant and ladylike, but it's the bow that gets all the attention!

MM Couture Bernice Sweater Dress, $71.50 (orig. $95)

These shoes were affordable even before the sale! Perfect with trouser socks and jeans.

I'm wild about the printed winter coats from Soïa & Kyo! This one is equally adorable but much more affordable.

SPLURGE!
I am so digging the bright hue of this dress. Makes me a believer that fall and winter gear does not always have to be black or grey.

This is such a perfect piece for layering over leggings or jeans, and I love they way they have it styled here over a shirt dress.

Every fashionista needs something with animal print in her closet. This ultra-luxe dress is appealing chic and flirty -- a good look (and feel) for brisk winter afternoons.
