Lanvin for H&M in Stores Today!

History will be made today as H&M stores across the U.S. open their doors to reveal the Lanvin for H&M collection, making the luxury fashion label accessible to all for the first time ever.

The buzz about Lanvin for H&M has been building for months, and today savvy shoppers will finally be able to get their hands on the flirty frocks, colorful accessories, and stylish menswear for a fraction of what they'd pay for a Lanvin original.

Score jackets and dresses from $100, or plunk down your credit card and invest in the wildly chic coat pictured for $350. And if those prices are still too rich for your blood, pick up a colorful T-shirt for $40 or a Lanvin for H&M lipstick for just $10. Menswear prices start at $20 for a T-shirt and go up to $300 for a tux. May I suggest this cardigan from the men's line. At $70 it's perfect for layering over skinny jeans and boots. Just belt the thing, roll the sleeves up a taste, add a few bangles and you're good to go.

What I Want: Flirty Dresses from Shoshanna

Seinfeld's ex-GF has certainly made a name for herself in the fashion biz--her eponymous line is clever and youthful with splashes of vintage charm mixed in. Most noted for the teeny bikinis she designs, this season Shoshanna is on my radar for the flirty, summer-perfect dresses she's churning out. These colorful little frocks are the reason sandals were invented!

Michelle Obama Wears Jason Wu

For months we've waited to find out which designer First Lady Michelle Obama would choose to design her inaugural gown and tonight we finally got our answer. The statuesque Michelle wore a diaphanous white gown from New York-based designer Jason Wu, no doubt putting the 26-year old on the fashion map.

Wu called in to chat on Anderson Cooper 360, stating that he was thrilled to see her in his gown. Like the rest of us, he had no idea what the First Lady would be wearing until he saw her on TV.

Earlier in the day, Michelle Obama donned a sleek suit to the swearing-in ceremony. The suit, a lemongrass-colored sheath and jacket, was designed by Isabel Toledo. I love that our First Lady wears what she likes, instead of wearing the bigger designers everyone is expecting her to wear!

As usual, Michelle looked absolutely stunning! I can't wait to see what looks she puts together over the next eight years!

Shop the Sale at Lulu's

The holiday season may be over, but as far as most retailers are concerned, the shopping season won't be finished until they've cleared out their winter selections to make room for spring's hottest styles, which means deep discounts on cute cold weather essentials. One of the best sales I've found is at Lulus.com -- they've got everything from booties to bags on sale now! Here are a few Style Goodies faves:

Wowza that's a sexy boot!

This sweater is essential for layering in the cold months, but short sleeves make it work for spring too.

This ruffled bag takes girly to another level -- love it!

The color is so elegant and ladylike, but it's the bow that gets all the attention!

MM Couture Bernice Sweater Dress, $71.50 (orig. $95)

These shoes were affordable even before the sale! Perfect with trouser socks and jeans.

I'm wild about the printed winter coats from Soïa & Kyo! This one is equally adorable but much more affordable.

SPLURGE!
I am so digging the bright hue of this dress. Makes me a believer that fall and winter gear does not always have to be black or grey.

This is such a perfect piece for layering over leggings or jeans, and I love they way they have it styled here over a shirt dress.

Every fashionista needs something with animal print in her closet. This ultra-luxe dress is appealing chic and flirty -- a good look (and feel) for brisk winter afternoons.
