The Beauty of Politics: Stila and Rock the Vote

It's an election year and while I am concerned about the the environment, the war, and the state of the economy, it's hard to ignore the sartorial style (or lack thereof) on the campaign trail. Hey, don't judge me--even Tim Gunn has sounded off about this very subject! (He chose Michelle...a wise choice if you ask me.) But what's fashion without beauty?

Since the two go hand in hand it's not surprising that makeup artist extraordinaire Bobbi Brown has been tapped to beautify Jill Biden for her husband Joe's acceptance speech at the Democratic Convention. Fashion and sports collided in Bejing at Friday night's 29th Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony when the U.S. Team marched out in head-to-toe Polo Ralph Lauren.
