Miss Negativity

Designing duo Viktor & Rolf really got their message across at their Fall 2008 runway show in Paris.

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm?

Prints Charming

Springtime fashion is always so fresh and modern and there's nothing more gorgeous than ladylike dresses with fun, bold prints to welcome the warm weather.

Here are five, deeply-covetable versions you'll want to pick up this season, and since they're all under $100 you can afford to give any one of them (or all of them) a new home in your closet!

The tie in the front creates a sweet little keyhole, but it's the graphic print of this Tie Front Abstract Dress ($29) from Twelve by Twelve that deserves all the attention.

Blouson sleeves make this Floral Spot Dress ($64) from Asos insanely girly--the perfect match for Spring's updated, 40s-inspired platforms.

The beauty of this Mac & Jac Silk Dress ($99) is that it can pair easily with strappy heels or shoe-of-the-moment, metallic gladiator sandals.

The shirt dress is the go-to silhouette for spring, and the Lux Mixed Shirt Dress ($48) is a sweet-and-sexy take on a classic shape.

A dress to flatter every body type, this Floral Chiffon Dress ($44) from Style Violet has a touch of sexy gold shimmer pinstriped throughout.

Rihanna on Cosmopolitan

Rihanna looks positively sunny and radiant on the March cover of Cosmopolitan! I can remember a time when there weren't too many of "us" showing up on the covers of Cosmo and Glamour, and it actually wasn't too long ago. It's so refreshing to see beautiful women of color being embraced by mainstream magazines. And speaking of beautiful women, don't miss the so-provocative article in Glamour called "Your Race, Your Looks." It's a round table of real women discussing the beauty biases that every woman faces, no matter what her race.

A Touch of Sweetness

Spotted these impossibly cute necklaces at Adore Vintage - they're sweet and charming, but not overtly so, and will go flawlessly with spring's most romantic looks!

It's Bow Time

Recently, makeup artists and beauty brands have taken notice of a usually unnoticed-but-somehow-unmissable part of the anatomy—the bow just above the lip. Subtly but undeniably sexy, the bow has typically taken a back seat to the plump pillowy fullness of a pouty bottom lip, until now!

Dick Page, makeup artist and artistic director for Shiseido the Makeup, highlighted the sweet spot on the runway at Doo.Ri by dusting a shimmery, golden pink powder at the bow of the lip for a soft, ethereal effect (I'm thinking Nars The Multiple in Orgasm - just right for all the lip locking you'll do tomorrow!); and Benefit Cosmetics has Cupid’s Bow, a lip liner devoted to making the bow of the lip the most appealing part of the body. With Valentine's Day just 24 short little hours away, it's the perfect time for beautiful, kissable lips!
